BYD has officially introduced its latest cutting-edge driving assistance system, aptly named “God’s Eye.” With this new update, every BYD vehicle—including the budget-friendly Seagull hatchback, will gain access to high-end intelligent driving features. The God’s Eye ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) will be available in three distinct versions, with select models equipped with up to three LiDAR sensors.

The “God’s Eye” ADAS is designed in three tiers, each offering increasing levels of intelligence and automation. Both "God's Eye A" and "God's Eye B" are equipped for autonomous driving in both urban and highway environments. Meanwhile, "God's Eye C" currently supports autonomous driving only on highways, with city-driving capabilities expected to be added through future over-the-air (OTA) updates.

The entry-level version, known as “God’s Eye C,” relies on a three-camera setup positioned behind the windshield. Designed for standard BYD models, this system runs on the DiPilot 100 platform, delivering a peak computing power of 100 TOPS.

It is supported by a sophisticated perception system consisting of 12 cameras, including three front-facing cameras, five panoramic cameras, and four surround-view cameras. Additionally, five mm-wave radars provide 360-degree coverage, with the front radar capable of detecting objects up to 300 meters away. The 12 ultrasonic sensors further enhance precision, with an accuracy of 1 cm and a parking margin of error of just 2 cm.

The mid-tier version, “God’s Eye B,” takes intelligent driving a step further by integrating a LiDAR sensor to enhance environmental perception. This system will be adopted by Denza models and select flagship vehicles under the BYD brand. It is powered by the DiPilot 300 system, which significantly boosts computing performance to 300 TOPS, enabling more refined and responsive driving assistance capabilities.

At the top of the lineup is the most advanced version, “God’s Eye A,” which features three LiDAR sensors for a superior autonomous driving experience. Designed exclusively for BYD’s luxury brand, Yangwang, this high-end system operates on the DiPilot 600 platform, delivering an impressive 600 TOPS of computing power. With its multiple LiDAR sensors and enhanced processing capabilities, “God’s Eye A” brings BYD’s self-driving technology closer to full autonomy.

A total of 21 BYD models, spanning the Dynasty and Ocean series, along with its premium sub-brands Denza and Yangwang, will be equipped with the God’s Eye ADAS. The most exciting aspect of this development is that all assisted driving features will be available at no additional cost, making cutting-edge driving technology more accessible than ever.

With the launch of God’s Eye, BYD is taking a major step forward in intelligent mobility, bringing next-level safety and automation across its entire fleet.
